On @metalliverpool Instagram Live to find out more about my project ‘Yore Lens on L8’ and how local artists are developing new Black cultural archives in Liverpool.

I will discuss the creation of a centralised online Black cultural archive resource to document the Black experience in Liverpool 8 and also explore questions such as how do we collectively save vital archive material from local people (videos, photos, audiotapes, books etc), where should archive materials be housed and how should they be accessed.

The final screening of more films from YLOL8, with music and performances. Q+A discussion, guests, review feedback, focus on archiving and future. 

Liverpool African Diaspora Film Network (LADFN) Screening a series of short films which will include a documentary on Delado Drum & Dance group.
